Pound Ridge Town-Wide Tag Sale

If you’ve been wanting to declutter, you’ll be thrilled to hear that the Pound Ridge Town-Wide Tag Sale is back this year and bigger and better than ever. Created by local legend Joan Silbersher, this once-a-year three-day phenomenon is now run by the Pound Ridge Business Association.
The PRBA does all the promotion and distributes maps listing the individual sales happening all around town each day. All participants receive a copy of PRBA President Lisa Miller’s expert tips for running a successful sale, and those running at-home sales get one of our branded signs.
Participants get to choose the dates and times they want to participate. Sell on one, two, or three days, and set your own hours. There are two ways to participate:
At-Home Tag Sales (May 17. 18 & 19)
Location: homes throughout Pound Ridge
Fee: $30 plus a refundable $10 sign deposit
Put out one of our bright blue signs, and let the shoppers come to you! No need to load up your stuff and haul it to town. An at-home sale is a great choice for those who have large items to sell or more than a carload of stuff. And if you set up in a garage or on a covered porch, soggy weather won’t dampen your sale. Note that the fee is the same whether you choose to participate for one, two, or three days.
In-Town Tag Sales (May 18 & 19 only)
Location: Barnwell Center in Scotts Corners (grassy space next to Key Bank)
Fee: $20/day
Bring your stuff and set up a table in town! The in-town option is available for those who would rather not run a sale at home. It’s fun to be part of a group of sellers, and the in-town location has high visibility and plenty of parking. Just be sure you can get all your stuff to town, be aware that you’ll need to provide your own table(s), and have a rainy-day plan (e.g., plastic sheeting or a portable tent).

Ready to sign up? Follow these easy steps:
1. Email the following info to erin10576@gmail.com:
Name
Mobile number
Location of your sale (your street address or the Barnwell Center)
Dates of your sale
Times of your sale (typically 10-5, but it’s up to you)
2. Pay the entry fee
At-home sale: Pay $30 here
OR
In-town sale: Pay $20/day here
3. Pick up your sign (at-home sales only)
Email erin10576@gmail.com to arrange for pick-up. Please note that there is a refundable $10 deposit for the sign. Signs can be picked up at the Town House most weekdays between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm. If that won’t work for you, we can arrange an alternative.
Once you’ve signed up and started assembling your sale items, consider taking photos of anything large, unusual, or special so we can share them on social media (email photos to erin10576@gmail.com).
